Welcome to Newport Elementary!
The process starts online by visiting the NMUSD Enrollment page.
Once you complete the steps online, our office staff will review the documents and reach out to you to confirm enrollment.

About Us
At Newport Elementary we strive to offer a quality education for all students and encourage each student to reach their academic and social potential. We are committed to offering our students a safe and secure environment with rich learning experiences. This means we do whatever it takes to ensure that our students learn at high levels. We know that not all students learn the same way or at the same rate so we give students multiple opportunities to succeed. We provide daily enrichment and/or extra support in math and language arts via our learning rotations.
Our highly qualified teachers work together to provide a caring, supportive learning environment. We teach, reward, and support academic and social behaviors via our PBIS model. Students are taught the tools they need to be successful, life-long learners.
Newport Elementary is supported by the partnership and hard work of so many. Our students are surrounded by a dedicated staff, terrific parent group, and supportive community. We all work together to make Newport El the "Best on the Beach"!
