Student Leadership

Students in 5th and 6th grade have the opportunity to participate in Student Leadership. With the help of their faculty advisers, Mrs. Ramos-Rios, students learn leadership and organizational skills and stay connected to their school community by giving back. They plan Spirit Days, a March Madness tournament, and a fundraiser/community outreach. They also serve as PALs (Peer Assistance Leaders) during lower grade recess to teach the rules of the games, mediate conflicts, and encourage students to include one another. Student Leaders in the 6th grade also have the special privilege of assisting with Flag Decks.
