Volunteer Opportunities

Join the PTA and School Foundation. Newport El has active and supportive parents whose volunteer work is needed and appreciated. Parents assist in the classroom, library, computer lab, and playground, and on many committees on a daily basis.  Both PTA and Foundation provide ongoing communications and opportunities to be involved.

If you plan on volunteering at school or in the classroom, please see “Classroom Volunteer Information” for more specific information.

When coming onto the Newport El campus you MUST come in through the front office, sign-in, and wear a “VISITOR/VOLUNTEER” sticker. For the safety of all students there is no access from any other doors or gates.

Fundraising

Both the PTA and School Foundation support Newport El financially through fundraisers held during the year.

Check out their webpages for more information.
